Garage doors need to be updated and replaced when they begin to break down.

Garage Door Information

Garage doors are essentially standardized into two models: tilt-up and sectional. Tilt-up garage doors are one piece, tilting upwards and outwards to allow entry to your garage. Sectional garage doors are broken into four or more horizontal slats that allow the door to roll up on tracks and lay near your ceiling while the door is open. Each has benefits and disadvantages. For example, tilt-up doors are around 25-35% cheaper than sectional doors. They are also easier to open and safer to deal with. However, sectional doors rest in your garage rather than hanging partially out when the door is open. Sectional doors also fit tighter in your doorway and create a better weatherproof seal.
